1 MILION VISITORS EXPECTED TO BELEK

Belek will host the World Amateur Team Golf Championship in 2012, the Turkish Golf Federation announced. Approximately 100 countries will be participating in the event in both men's and women's categories. The 2012 World Amateur Team Championship will be held at the Cornelia Golf Club, Gloria Golf Club and Antalya Golf Club in Antalya’s resort town of Belek.

 CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS

FOUNDATION AND STRUCTURE
Preparation of Foundation:

Vegetal soil is cleaned below the foundation level, filled with coarse grained rubble stone, pressed and covered with 10 cm plane concrete layer. On the plane concrete, Pp 4000 membrane water proof material is stretched on the surface in order to cover the side walls of the raft foundation as described in latter foundation process for water and damp proof. Membrane layer is carefully covered with mat and another layer of protection concrete, not to be damaged at the latter processes.

Foundation:

Raft foundation techniques are used for 100% safety policy, although the ground is very safe according to the geological researches. On the prepared land, appropriate to static project and technical specifications, C-25 concrete (laboratory tested) is poured on the pre made casting and iron reinforcing bars as to provide 50 cm foundation thickness. Side walls of foundation are covered with the pre stretched Pp 4000 membrane layer under the foundation and also supported by liquid membrane in order to provide excellent foundation water proof for the buildings so called “tanking”.

Structure:

Appropriate to static, architectural projects and technical specifications, floors are formed as:  concrete beams with iron reinforcing bars and pumice floor blocks (volcanic based insulating floor blocks for noise and heat insulation), and in between the floors, concrete columns and curtain walls with iron reinforcing bars to conclude the structure. Laboratory tested  concrete and certificated iron is used for higher safety standards.

Internal Walls:

Bricks and Pumice blocks (volcanic based insulating wall blocks for noise and heat insulation) are used in the living rooms and the rooms. Satin Gypsum plaster on both sides and painted with 0 VOC inflammable ceramic insulated paint in white or light beige.

External Walls:

25 cm Pumice Stone for noise and heat insulation, brown plaster on outside, gypsum plaster on inside, 0 VOC ( does not contain any Volatile Organic Compounds) inflammable ceramic insulated paint in white and green colour combination accordingly with the 3D drawings.

Roof:

Main structural body is formed with 90mm*90mm profiled irons. Structural irons are supported with various sizes of profiled irons to conclude the structure. Structure is covered with resistible wooden panels. In between the ceiling and wooden panel, rock wool is used for heat insulation. On the wooden panel, steam stabilizer and water insulation materials (damp permeable water proof membrane) are stretched, the uppermost section is finished with BRAAS roofing system, cement tiles to a high standard.
